Anthemic Sounds

Who would have thought that UA would wind up making some of the coolest sounding Virtual Instrument plug ins? I was definitely impressed by their first two synth offerings, Opal and Polymax. They both sport easy to navigate interfaces and invite experimentation. And their B-3 emulation named Waterfall (with it's attending Leslie Cabinet) may have moved my favorite Organ from Logic to the back of the line.

But Anthem is a different beast. Sonically, it has all of the "analogy" fatness that seems to be missing from so many plug ins. Yes, the polyphony (and CPU drag) are a slight ding but overall, this plug in puts a smile on my face. Extra points for "no menu diving".
